Happy Valentine’s Day my fellow lovers!
It’s funny because I often describe myself as a love poet, and my poetry archive certainly proves that branding. I don’t share them often unless in a spoken word format, they’re little nuggets of gold I hold very close to my chest.
All I encourage is for you to keep falling in love. With yourself, with life. With the way light rays reflect off a breaking ocean tide, the way a blooming rose smells. Let your heart swell and overflow into your hands every now and then. Watch as it pools at your feet, covers you in a warm embrace. Sink into it.
Take my hand, dear reader. Let’s read the newsletter…
Song of the Week
This ska/reggae mashup from Amy is a vibe for Valentine’s Day. Her raspy voice pleads for cupid to hear her cries, to let his arrow fly!
